The Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort is poised for a significant expansion, with the size of the area set to double. This major development will introduce two brand-new attractions that will immerse guests in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with construction on this ambitious project slated to begin next year.

Avengers Infinity Defense

One of the upcoming attractions is Avengers Infinity Defense, a multi-world adventure that will allow guests to team up with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in a battle across iconic Marvel locations. The plot centers around advanced technology that enables the Avengers to jump between worlds, which has mysteriously gone missing. This technology has fallen into the hands of King Thanos, who is using it to wreak havoc across the multiverse.

Guests will join forces with a variety of Marvel heroes as they travel through realms such as Asgard, Wakanda, and New York City. The attraction promises encounters with characters of all sizes, from the tiniest to the most formidable. The journey will also bring guests face-to-face with King Thanos himself in a climactic showdown.

Stark Flight Lab

In Stark Flight Lab, Tony Stark has a new mission for recruits. Guests will board two-person pods and be transported to a test station. The ride’s centerpiece is a robot arm that grabs the pod and sends it spinning through a simulated flight, providing a unique and immersive experience.

Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Tony Stark, adding an authentic touch to the experience. Stark will guide guests through the attraction, making them feel like they are part of his latest experiment.

That’s it, they are the same thing as Scoop.

This would be great for the China pavilion at Epcot. Although it might be slightly Soarin'-like, I'd love to ride something like this.

This would be a great way to update Philharmagic. It would be a big draw if Disney went 360 with actual ride vehicles for MP using the dynamic motion stage. Static film rides can't cut it anymore.

That's not it.

Content like this is what keeps my dopamine receptors returning to the internet. :)

The RVs are that way so they can obscure your view so you can focus on what's in front of you.

So Peter Pan isn't trackless. Why are the ride vehicles so huge? Do they really need to be that big?

May I recommend Luigi's in Cars Land? Its that sequence for the entire ride.

The dance studio scene is my favorite part of MMRR…

Wow! Those screens are so huge. I haven't ever seen screens so big. Well, except every time I go to a movie theatre. Its so magical knowing that Disney can create rides that marvel the technology of your local neighborhood Regal Cinema.

As a reference, this is the Peter Pan scale

I do enjoy MMRR but I feel that the experience is ill timed depending on where you sit. If you’re all the way in the last vehicle you do not get the full scene. The last scene is quite impressive but moves too quick if your in the room last

Yeah that’s why I said some of it. A lot of it is an issue with how Disney is approaching trackless dark rides these days. They nailed it over 20 years ago with Hunny Hunt and ROTR doesn’t feel like a warehouse. All of those ideas would definitely help. I think the biggest offenders on MMRR are the stampede and carnival scenes. Daisys room is also designed to be a holding room if you will to give the cars in the dead end finale time to get out of there. Of couree they could have gone with something different instead of Daisys dance studio. Strange how Donald barely has a presence on the ride.

I do enjoy MMRR but understand it has issues. I would say that MMRR and Adventureland Treehouse are the best new attractions to open since Galaxy's Edge.
