Mono means one and rail means rail, as Lyle Lanley would say. Over thirty years old and these are the most futuristic looking transportation system in the world. THat's Disney Magic.
Over the 7 years I have been going to Disney regularly (1 - 2 several day trips each year), I think the bus system has improved. Especially in the last couple years, waits (overall) have been shorter and I have experienced less of the phenomena where three buses for one location show up before one bus for another location does. Overall, a very pleasant, convenient and (lately) more timely and efficient service.
I rode a late night bus from Pleasure Island and was unfortunate enough to be near a group of drunks. One kept falling into a group of young girls sitting nearby. A cursing match broke out but the driver did NOTHING. I kept waiting for him to step in but no. Finally I did-needless to say, not pleasant for family vacationers. After this near brawl the driver STILL ignored us. That being said, if your bussing to MK it beats parking, tramming, and wating around the TTC.
