Disney's Animal Kingdom was the first of the Walt Disney World theme parks to reopen alongside Magic Kingdom on July 11 following the COVID-19 closures.
As everywhere at Walt Disney World, Disney's Animal Kingdom is employing social distancing, limited capacity, temperature screenings and mandatory use of masks.
Animal Kingdom appears to be have the lowest number of guests of all the parks, with most guests appearing to favor Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios at this time.
The walkways are impressively open with some areas having far more Cast Members than guests.
Like the other parks, characters appear in physically distanced settings, with the Discovery River playing host to several boat-based character appearances taking place throughout the day.
