If you consider buying all three of these guides to expensive, drop this one. Not because the stuff about the inspiration for the shape of Test Track isn't cool, or that you don't want to learn about royal supervision of the Moroccan pavilion, but because the Imagineers kinda gloss over the fact that they destroyed Walt Disney's vision for EPCOT Center by turning an idyllic city into a theme park. Also, note the subtle references to Chinese communism in the section about the China pavilion. (How much you wanna bet Walt would have never let them in?)
The Field guide series are great. Lots of interesting facts and info. A must buy for any WDW park fan. My only wish is that they were a bit bigger!
