Disney is yet to unveil the completed Dreamers Point in World Celebration at EPCOT, but guests can now buy the 'Walt the Dreamer' sculpture in a miniature form.

Available at EPCOT's Creations Shop priced at $95, the model is based on the full-size Walt Disney statue by Imagineer Scott Goddard coming to Dreamers Point in World Celebration later this year.

Alongside the model, there is a Christmas tree ornament at $26.99, and a pin at $11.99.

There is a quantity limit of 2 per item, per guest.

You're right. It was something much more important to current TDO: RETAIL SPACE

IMO, for the ground lights, just make the covers opaque with translucent pinholes. You could just wipe through colors and on/off states randomly to achieve a shimmer effect similar to the old fiber optics. I imagine that would better obfuscate the persistent malfunctions and abnormally bright or dim sections. Regardless, it continues to seem really odd to me that this is an issue at all. Was there just some massive error with the wiring and/or controls?

Current state of the entrance plaza lights. 2 out of the 3 fountain pylons are not working, not to mention how horrible the inside of the fountain looks during the day since the paint has all been worn off for years at this point. I’m genuinely done caring about this park at this point840609

The thing is, I’ve seen them on “solid white” and they are ANYTHING BUT solid white

Same. Just go solid white and call it a day.

At this point I would be happy if the lights were separate from spaceship earth if that meant they were all one color. It just looks so bad when it's obvious everything is broken.

If they kept the upper part where Epcot Character Spot, Fountainview and the Hallway It would have been fine and kept the Journey of water where it is..Change all lighting in the area to LED's and Sync to the SSE shows along with a new light package that was inside the Fountain of Nations for brighter visuals.. I'm still disappointed they haven't used this segment from Splashtacular for the Beacon of Magic show on SSE during The Arts Festival and a good nod to the former show..

imo even if the epcot core had been kept in pristine condition it would have still looked very dated

I’m sorry I was writing that out before the above was posted but regardless I stand by what I said both Eisners and igers middle were not what Epcot needed with the exception of club cool it was going to need to be fixed anyway also who’s Elizabeth diller?

lazyboy97o7 days ago

You clearly missed what was just explained to you. The area was allowed to deteriorate as a pretext nor was the plan ever actually going to fix anything. Iger wanted to tell people he hired Elizabeth Diller to design a building, not that he solved some guest experience problem.

Oh no I’m not defending how it turned out I’m just saying if I was Disney in 2016 or so and I had chose between redoing the spine or fixing figment i would choose fix the middle hot take maybe but I think figment as it is isn’t that bad not as good the original looked online ( I’ve never experienced it myself) but still better then the decaying thing that was there before

This is always such an insane argument to me because the few facilities that were closed prior to the plaza rehab were only closed in preparation for the plaza rehab. They took Innoventions West down because that was the building that was going to need the most work, then their plans were put on ice after the building was closed. Innoventions East was allowed to wither away because they knew work to close the entire complex would be happening imminently. All in all it was three years of Innoventions operating maybe half the exhibits it used to. I don't think there was anything in the plaza at any point in its last decade of operation that felt worse off than Figment. Maybe Pin Central and Electric Umbrella.

Figment hasn’t had a problem with not aging well because it was never well to begin with. They spent millions of dollars on a project that was never intended to meet the actual needs of the space. It was a half baked vanity project that naturally turned into a boondoggle.

It still served its purpose fine enough.
