Universal Orlando has today dropped all mask requirements for fully vaccinated guests visiting its Central Florida theme parks.
The Disney World competitor has updated its website with the new information, which says that "face coverings are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests, indoors or outdoors."
Universal appears to be relying on the honor system to determine fully vaccinated guests, since there are no proof of vaccination system available to verify an individual's vaccination status.
It remains to be seen if Disney will respond with a similar policy update, or it will continue to be more cautious and await further updates from Orange County. The next announcement from Orange County is likely on June 2.
