During this afternoon's quarterly earning call, Disney CEO Bob Chapek briefly commented on resuming operations at the theme parks.
Chapek said that it is "too early to predict when to resume operations," and that Disney will take a "cautious, sensible and deliberate approach to the eventual reopening of the parks," and may employ "guest capacity and density control measures."
Shanghai Disney will open May 11, employing limits on attendance, a reservation entry system, controlling guests density, using masks, temperature screening and other contact tracing and early detection systems.
