Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park and all  Walt Disney World mini-golf courses will be closed August 30, 2023 due to the approaching Hurricane Idalia.

Walt Disney World's four main theme parks are currently operating as normal, with no changes to operating hours yet planned.

Hurricane Idalia is expected to make landfall early Wednesday in the north west of Florida as a major category 3 hurricane. Conditions in the theme park areas are expected to include heavy rains up to 6", and wind speeds of 40mph. Tornado's are also possible.

It’s going to be a very nice evening. Credit due to Disney for handling this storm very well.
