The food was nothing special, but our waitress and the staff were very sweet and kind to my Mom. It was her 70th birthday, and my twin boys' 6th birthday (August). Shutters. The service was respectable and quick and I was impressed until the food arrived. I had the tuna and it was completely rubbish, didn't taste of anything and felt like eating rubber. The dessert was reasonably tasty, but didn't make up for the awful main. 4/10
There was one nice thing abt. my family's experience at dinner at shutters...the waitress! Very nice lady from Jersey (ooops forgot her name) but the menu and food was horrible in my opinion. My daughter hadbaked chicken with blackbeans and rice...i cook way better chicken with my eyes closed and ... [Read more] hands tied...the rice was ok but then how can u mess up rice and beans...i had jerk tuna and I felt like I was the one to get "Jerked"...it came raw...sushi style and when I say oh no pls cook it fully it came back really dry and yuckie. The jerk seasoning was not good...not even spicy like real carribbean food. They did have steak on the menu...that may have been good.
