We stopped by for some ice cream on our last trip to WDW. We were able to use some of our snack credits. The quality of the ice cream was very good. We sat outside, so we had to eat it fast. I wish there was more seating for this restaurant. Overall, it was a nice, refreshing experience.
nice place to relax and have really good ice cream
The Edy's ice cream here is great. I always get an ice cream sandwich from here and share it with someone else. It is huge and a good deal at $4.99 since two people can easily share it. The lines aren't crazy to get served. Sitting on the terrace is nice especially if the Fountain of Nations is preforming.
This is a great place for a snack. It's nice to get a real ice cream cone rather than a pre-packaged ice cream from a cart. It's also very refreshing to sit out on the porch and watch the Fountain of Nations as you dig into a huge ice cream cone. It was also very quiet and crowd-free when we stopped in. I will definitely eat here again.
Fountain View Starbucks opened on September 4 2013 in the space formerly occupied by Fountain View Ice Cream. Located near to the Fountain of Nations in the heart of Future World at Epcot, it offers the full Starbucks menu and a small selection of Disney baked goods.
