Thanks to some lucky timing, we spotted this large set-piece being lifted into position at Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom today.

The set-piece comprises a mechanical crane taking on a rusted, industrial appearance, with a series of gears and pulleys. The arm of the crane is extended and is hoisting a wooden crate, which is suspended by ropes. The crate contains three boxes, one stamped with Tiana's logo.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure replaces Splash Mountain with a planned opening in 2024 at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.

Small thread bump, but the ride just had its worst operational performing day ever. The ride was closed for pretty much the entire day until 9:17pm due to technical issues. Note park hours today for the MK was 9am - 10pm. Only 40 BGs were called today, all at 9:17pm. This is the lowest maximum BG called in a single day. The ride may as well just stayed closed today because doubt guests who obtained a BG from the morning 7am drop sticked out for the ride for its (extremely) delayed opening. Plus night and cold weather conditions. The VQ for TBA ends in less than 5 days, so this doesn't bode well for a standby queue once the VQ is gone. VQ stats for today and more:

Broken animatronics yes (this is normal and expected in todays Disney), but they keep running guests through it. I will thinking of breakdowns that stop the attraction from running guests through it.

Most reliability issues are animatronic issues, not the ride itself.

The Disneyland version has been broken for 2 months and they haven’t even tried to fix it.

I just threw a number out there. I think you are right Tiana being not as popular as the previous attraction, I think the stand by would probably be (a total guess) max of 60 minutes.
