More than 14 days of Cast Member previews planned for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT

Disney will begin Cast Member previews for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure on August 19, which will continue for more than two weeks.

Cast Member-only previews begin August 19 through to September 2, with an additional round of previews for Cast Member sweepstake winners, which will allow guests to accompany the Cast Member winners.

In addition to the cast days, Club 33 previews will take place on September 3, and Disney Vacation Club previews are planned for September 5, 17, and 20. Dates for the now sold-out Annual Passholder preview include September 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 13, 15, 16, 23, 24, 27, 28.

While the news of more previews is welcome for anyone who is part of the above groups, it is making soft openings for regular day guests more remote as available days before the official October 1 debut become scarce.

This new family-friendly attraction will officially debut as part of the kickoff for "The World’s Most Magical Celebration" honoring Walt Disney World Resort's 50th anniversary.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure invites guests into the flavorful world of Disney and Pixar's "Ratatouille," where they will feel as if they shrink to the size of Chef Remy and scurry through Gusteau's famous restaurant. You will find Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in a newly expanded area of the park's France pavilion.

Yall would hate the lapsitting they make adults do at Europa park

Wow. What did I do to offend you so much?? It was hot that day and I was in a rush that morning to make rope drop, cut a guy a break! 😂 I'm with you, they shouldn't force a third person into a row on a ride like this unless they agree to it.

When it is bench seating like this, where you are shoulder to shoulder, each family(or group) unit should have their own row. I don't want to be squished up against some nasty sweaty guy in a tank top that forgot to put his deodorant on. So if it is just my daughter and me, we should not have to be squished together with someone we don't know. This is like if they put you in a doombuggy in the Haunted Mansion with a stranger. No one should be forced to be that close to a stranger.

The vehicles were being put through too much stress on the exterior (after all, the vehicles were based off of autonomous cargo movers at seaports), so it's being reworked to be flatter.

I've heard they had trouble keeping that section working consistently but combined with the reduced boarding, would seem intended to shave a little off the ride length to increase hourly capacity while operating with fewer vehicles.

They cut this? Was the best part of the ride that was mostly “meh” for me from there. I guess now the whole experience is consistent 😄

He means the sign. The sign is permanent. 👍🏻 They may throw a canvas bag over it from time-to-time (maybe, eventually, all the time) but it'll always be there!

Permanent. Got it.

Definitely originally planned, but they likely did the math and guests who couldn’t fit within the seats likely caused bigger capacity loss than the capacity gains from single rider. Stickers allow for best of both worlds and the return of single rider.

There has always been the one unused entry post that's now used for the single rider. I think it was planned from the beginning?

maybe I'll actually be able to ride Remy's when I go to Epcot now. Every time I'm over in France its always hovering around an hour.

It's a pretty efficient single rider at DLP, which is why many experienced with the original version are surprised Epcot's never had one until now

Just rode Remys using single rider and only waited 5 minutes. There was quite a few people in line, but it moves really quick.

Had one of the rudest interactions ever with a Cast Member asking about Single Rider about a year ago. Asked how often they ran Single Rider (wasn’t aware they didn’t bring it over from Paris) and in the most condescending way the CM assured me they’ve never had single rider and never will. Was taken aback by it because I asked in a curious up-beat tone. Well, dude, now there’s a Single Rider.
