Disney is beginning the process of assembling the opening team for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure which will officially open on October 1 2021.
Billed as one of the main additions to Walt Disney World for for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” honoring Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary, we know that the official opening date for the attraction is October 1 2021. However, Disney has been careful to use the word "official" opening when discussing October 1, which leaves the door very much open for an earlier soft opening.
With Disney already beginning the process of onboarding the opening team Cast Members, it appears to support the theory that we may well see some type of opening perhaps even as early as the summer. Interestingly, it would also seem to suggest that at least initially, the ride will be operated by local area Cast Members, and not making use of the currently suspended International Program participants from France.
Originally planned to open in 2020, and then delayed by the pandemic, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure invites guests into the flavorful world of Disney and Pixar’s “Ratatouille,” where they will feel as if they shrink to the size of Chef Remy and scurry through Gusteau’s famous restaurant. Guests will find Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in a newly expanded area of the park’s France pavilion.
Also debuting October 1 in this section of the pavilion will be La Crêperie de Paris, offering both table and quick-service options. The menu will feature sweet crepes, savory buckwheat galettes (naturally gluten friendly) and authentic French hard cider.
