Smart choice of a recast.

Rory McCann will reportedly take on the role of Baylan Skoll in Ahsoka Season 2: Scottish actor Rory McCann, best known for playing the burly brute The Hound on HBO’s Game of Thrones, will replace late actor Ray Stevenson for a second season of Star Wars show Ahsoka, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Stevenson played the hulking former Jedi known as Baylan Skoll in the Disney+ series. He died after a brief illness in May 2023, three months before the series premiered. The actor was a fan favorite, thanks to his resonate voice, humor and roles in Punisher: War Zone, the Thor movies and TV’s Rome. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/star-wars-ahsoka-season-2-ray-stevenson-rory-mccann-1236105886/

I don’t think they’ll screw it up, so long as Dave Filoni is overseeing it.

That's not as much of a sure win as Barbie beating Little Mermaid was last year. Gosh, I hope they don't screw up Ahsoka season 2.

If it only makes it to two seasons, the biggest reason will be the 3(or more) year break between seasons. Where people won't remember much of what happened in the show except it wasn't good enough to warrant a rewatch. This is my subjective opinion, but contrasted to Andor which also had too long a gap, I actually am looking forward and eager to rewatch it before the next season. At which point all enthusiasm for anything new from Disney and Star Wars ends.

Considering Ahsoka was reportedly going to be a 2-season show before Filoni’s movie, per Making Star Wars, I’m not surprised this, like Andor, will be a 2-season-only show.

Exactly. Never underestimate the power of lucasfilm to completely miss the mark. Lol

You want to throw down that challenge? 🤪

There is no way Ashoka season 2 would go off the rails. It should be a decent show. She is pretty safe as they stay on target.

That is about all she does. I bet she got off ship right before the Battle of Endor.
