Starting today, visitors to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park can look forward to new limited-time encounters with Deadpool and Wolverine.

From his favorite cozy reading chair, guests can join Deadpool as he reads from his big book of super special stories. These family-friendly tales delight, charm and inspire in the way only Deadpool can. And keep an eye out for Wolverine who may be dropping by "Story Time with Deadpool." Also, for a limited time, Deadpool and Wolverine might make appearances in entertainment offerings like "Avengers Assemble!" and "Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!" in Avengers Campus."

Grr, I wish I'd known that was the last day of the full show - I'd've gone to see it. :( (Although I did catch part of the show that day in passing and it already seemed truncated without the tumbling.) But ugh that new version loses so much of the charm. I don't care about the tumbling but the start at the top of the building and coming down on the "web" was so great. :(

The local news has picked up on this latest entertainment cutback from TDA. https://www.ocregister.com/2024/11/18/disneyland-removes-stunt-performers-from-spider-man-stuntronic-show/ The Spider-Man stunt performers in the Avengers Campus rooftop show got a lump of coal in their stockings from Disneyland as they were told to hang up their supersuits just as the Christmas holiday season kicks off at the Anaheim theme parks. The stunt performers in “The Amazing Spider-Man” show received notice that their final performances would be on Sunday, Nov. 17 in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure, according to the American Guild of Variety Artists.

The new version premiered today. No more acrobatics and parkour before the stuntronic launch. And no more grappling down the wall. This is just sad (imo).

‘based on guest feedback’ makes me laugh. Because guests are clearly telling them they hate seeing Spiderman crawl down the building they’d much rather he walked around a corner

I drink both actually. ;) Good movie and while obviously sensationalized its really well done and from what I've been able to find pretty accurate. Sadly I haven't actually been to Ireland myself yet. My grandparents and aunts/uncles have all been, but I haven't stepped foot on the Emerald Isle yet. I plan on going soon, just need to set some things in my personal life up first. Its a good classic Irish film, and has John Wayne in it. I hope so, one of the things that AC has going for it is the entertainment.

Team Cork! Where we drink Murphy's and NOT Guiness I think I need to go back and watch Michael Collins, it's been at least 10 years and Liam Neeson is just a treasure. 100% agree - I've actually only been to Dublin proper on St. Patrick's day weekend and would really like to go back when it's just a normal day and see the Book of Kells + more Had never heard of this film - tossing it on the list as well! In any case, now returning to the regularly scheduled programming: do y'all think we'll see new entertainment + walk around alongside the new attractions?
