Starting today, visitors to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park can look forward to new limited-time encounters with Deadpool and Wolverine.

From his favorite cozy reading chair, guests can join Deadpool as he reads from his big book of super special stories. These family-friendly tales delight, charm and inspire in the way only Deadpool can. And keep an eye out for Wolverine who may be dropping by "Story Time with Deadpool." Also, for a limited time, Deadpool and Wolverine might make appearances in entertainment offerings like "Avengers Assemble!" and "Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!" in Avengers Campus."

Very glad Deadpool is finally gone. Sad they didn't let Wolverine out on his own. He will be a welcome addition to Campus once the next X-Men movie comes out.

You can't deny that Deadpool and Wolverine were hits at the Avengers Campus. I'm assuming Disney thinks they (Deadpool in particular) are too risky for a meet & greet, but I can't imagine that's the last we've seen of them.

Grr, I wish I'd known that was the last day of the full show - I'd've gone to see it. :( (Although I did catch part of the show that day in passing and it already seemed truncated without the tumbling.) But ugh that new version loses so much of the charm. I don't care about the tumbling but the start at the top of the building and coming down on the "web" was so great. :(

The local news has picked up on this latest entertainment cutback from TDA. https://www.ocregister.com/2024/11/18/disneyland-removes-stunt-performers-from-spider-man-stuntronic-show/ The Spider-Man stunt performers in the Avengers Campus rooftop show got a lump of coal in their stockings from Disneyland as they were told to hang up their supersuits just as the Christmas holiday season kicks off at the Anaheim theme parks. The stunt performers in “The Amazing Spider-Man” show received notice that their final performances would be on Sunday, Nov. 17 in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure, according to the American Guild of Variety Artists.
