Big changes are coming to the Disneyland Resort hotels, with updates planned across guest rooms, dining spaces, and concierge lounges. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect in the coming years.
Napa Rose at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
Napa Rose will temporarily close this spring for a major renovation, with a reopening planned for fall 2025. Updates will include:
- A refreshed interior with reclaimed French oak flooring, artisan metals, and a chandelier inspired by Mission grapevines.
- Expanded counters for a closer look at the exhibition kitchen.
- A redesigned patio with additional seating and two new fireplaces.
- The restaurant will feature a new menu alongside popular items like the Smiling Tiger Salad. Temporary dining updates at the hotel will be available during the closure.
New Concierge Lounges for Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Grand Californian
Two new concierge lounges are in development:
High Key Club at Disneyland Hotel
- Opening this summer, the lounge celebrates Disneyland's music and sounds from 1955.
- Located in the Adventure Tower, it will offer nearly double the space of the previous lounge and include fireworks views with music from the show.
New Lounge at Disney's Grand Californian
- Expected to open in 2026, this two-story space on the 5th and 6th floors will complement the hotel's Craftsman design.
- Features will include skylights, stained glass, and a curved staircase.
Guests staying at Pixar Place Hotel can already visit the Creators Club lounge, which debuted last year.
Guest Room Updates at Disney's Grand Californian
The hotel will refresh its guest rooms with:
- New colors in carpets, upholstery, and bedding inspired by California wildflowers.
- Artwork commissioned from local plein air artists.
- Updates will extend to the Disney Vacation Club Villas.
Pixar Place Hotel Adds Two Themed Suites
This summer, Pixar Place Hotel will debut two new premium suites:
- Coco Suite: Inspired by the Rivera family hacienda with handcrafted furniture, artisan decor, and family mementos.
- The Incredibles Suite: A mid-century modern design featuring spy-themed elements, secret doors, and interactive surprises.
These will join the hotel's existing variety of room types to accommodate different travel needs.
