Disney has announced that Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which is coming later this year to Disneyland, will include two reimagined merchandise locations.

The first location, Ray's Berets (currently The Briar Patch), will be the best place for guests to shop for headwear, apparel, accessories, toys, and more with firefly Raymond and his firefly kin in the coziest cabin in Critter Country.

Traveling further into the land, you'll come across Louis' Critter Club (currently on the left-hand side of Pooh Corner), where the friends of Tiana's Bayou Adventure call this local hot spot their home away from home. Louis' Critter Club is the place to go for apparel, accessories, home decor, and more, featuring some of your favorite critters and Princess Tiana.

The treats side of Pooh Corner will remain as a destination for must-have merchandise from Hundred Acre Wood, including beloved sweet treats like Tigger tails.

Critter Country will temporarily close on May 1, 2024, to make way for these land enhancements.

There is no word yet on which merchandise locations will be coming to Walt Disney World's version of Tiana's Bayou Adventure, but we should expect at least two.

Just luck of the draw then. But it still the same, basically after 9-10p the west side empties out whether nighttime entertainment is going that day or not. Its only the hardcore people that stay to the end of the night as most families have left for the day by that point.

when Fantasmic was down and they had the jazz band playing on the River as pre-show to Wondrous Journeys it was 100% Disneyland Charm. I do like Fantasmic too though.

Every time I've been there, they haven't even been doing Fantasmic. Fireworks, sure, but Fantasmic seems to never be running whenever I'm in the parks.

I know people love Disneyland at night but for me peak Disneyland is anywhere between 65- 72 degrees and sunny. You just walked into an empty-ish Town Square or you are passing through NOS along the ROA. The jazz music is playing. It’s late morning and it’s not too crowded yet.

West side after the second showing of Fantasmic is peak Disneyland, especially this time of year. So quiet and cozy.

My experience as I mentioned is that for the most part the west side is always dead after F! and fireworks (especially if its a weeknight where neither happen). Even in some cases I've seen the east side dead too. Its how I can get in so many rides in the last couple hours. So like I said I don't consider it unusual. Yep, my experience with riding BTMRR over and over at the end of the night was actually during a May trip. So agreed it can happen anytime of the year, just more so in January after the holidays I would think.

Agreed - I’ve seen it like this in summer even. I remember walking back from Mansion one time and the only other human I saw was a security guard. I also remember riding pirates completely alone…. No other guests to be seen…. Just me and the skeletons! Ha. Now over in fantasyland you’ll always see at least 20 minutes at pan up until closing.

I haven't seen the parks this dead at night in a long time. Maybe its because they used to close at 10 or 11 in Winter and now they are going till Midnight. Not sure. I enjoyed 5-15 minute lines at the end of day, but rarely have I walked through an entire queue without seeing any other people. Until my two trips this January.

Honestly this isn't unusual to have many or even all rides on the west side being walk on (especially in January) after night time entertainment. I remember one visit where I just rode BTMRR like 10 times in a row during the last couple hours (only getting off and running around to get back on) of the day.

HM was 55 when I rode Sunday. And then was a walk-on 10-midnight, but I call that up to the fact it was down for hours. Splash was down from when I got there at noon and whenever I passed by it. It was open around 10:30 when I got off HM, and had zero line. The were sitting single riders in their own logs. It was still a walk on when I got walked out of Pooh around 11. But at that point, honestly every ride I encountered was a walk on. Pirates, Indy, Jungle Cruise, Tiana. Each one I rode completely alone. It was eerie.

How DARE you?

WTH? Last Wednesday TBA was 70 minutes and HM was 65. Is it me?

chadwpalm3 days ago

Yup. If this was hit out of the park there would still be lines. It only took it 2 months to become a "cool-down in the summer" ride.

mickEblu3 days ago

For sure. Saw that coming from a mile away. MKs have no incentive to get on that thing after the first ride or two back in October/ November. If Splash wasn’t worth the drenching in the winter for most people towards the end of its life than TBA sure isn’t. Of course TBA is new so if they had done their job right it probably would still be getting a decent queue.
