i personally like this store. there's a lot of options but so much of what disney carries seems to be duplicated in all the stores lately so basically if you can't find it here you're probably not going to find it. i will give extra props to the cm's working last november...they surprised the heck out of my sister by getting the entire store to sing happy birthday to her after spotting her birthday pin :)
great selection of merchandise
The Emporium is huge. Located in Mainstreet it stretches almost the whole land. It is probably the closest thing to the World of Disney shop in DD. The Emporium has a grand selection of almost any souvenier from MK or WDW in general.
The Emporium is a great place to shop, unless of course it\'s 10 minutes before a parade is about to start! If you\'re looking for something in particular, chances are that you will find it here. The only problem with this shop would have to be the crowds prior to a parade. It seems that everyone trying to claim a spot on Main Street congregates in the shop entry ways and there are serious road blocks and jams for those of us shopaholics that want to browse the entire store. Aside from the pre-parade minglers, this is the best place to find what you are looking for!
I love the emporium, unless it is during the peak season. so many people in one store is not fun, and bobbing and weaving is not to fun. as a default, go here to find the ususal mickey and minnie stuff.
In general, the Main Street Emporium is the Magic Kingdom store. From books, CDs, postcards, plushes, this store has a lot to offer! Be sure to check it out next time, even when you're exiting the park.
This place takes up all of the left side of main street and has everything you could ever want. Just think of something and you will find it here
This large shop on Main Street is the best shop in the Magic Kingdom. The park's version of one-stop-shopping, if you want it, chances are good you'l find it here. Just as good as the shop is the theming around it, especially the wonderful window diorammas based on classic Disney films (It was based on Disney Princesses like Cinderella, Belle, and others when I was there last). A definate must-see for the Main Street area.
The Emporium, right on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, is one of the best gift shops in all of Walt Disney World. It's really got it all: candy, cards, mugs, dolls, shirts, and other items one can purchase to add to their memorable trip. It's usually packed with people, but with various check-out points scattered in the place, the wait isn't usually that bad. It's a great stop-off point for those doing their Disney gift-shopping or souvenier hunting.
