Disney has updated its Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience website giving us a first confirmation of pricing and exactly what is included in the package.

As expected, the 2 night, 2 day experience aboard the 100 cabin starcruiser will not come cheap. For 2 guests in the entry-level standard cabin in off-season during late August - September, the total is $4809.

What is included on Star Wars Galactic Starcuiser and what does it cost?

Your Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser vacation package includes:

  • 2-night stay in a cabin or suite
  • Ongoing, immersive and interactive entertainment, where choices determine your experience
  • Food and beverages on the starcruiser (excluding alcoholic and specialty beverages) and a quick-service meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or other select locations at Disney's Hollywood Studios
  • Admission to Disney's Hollywood Studios for your planetary excursion to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge for one day, on day two
  • Valet parking
  • Exclusive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser databand (known on your home planet as a MagicBand)

For a group of four, pricing is closer to $6000.

In addition to the standard cabins, there is a Galaxy Class Suite and a Grand Captain Suite - pricing for those is not yet available.

As part of the experience, Disney is inviting guests to dress up as part of the Star Wars galaxy and wear galactic favorites during your Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser adventure. Disney advises that clothes from your home planet are also welcome.

What does the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser itinerary look like?

What dining is included in Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser?

On the first night of your adventure, the Crown of Corellia Dining Room transforms for dinner into a table-service supper club with a special musical appearance by a galactic superstar. You’ll enjoy a special evening with distinctive dining and entertainment as you socialize with passengers and crew.

The second night, The Taste Around the Galaxy showcases courses inspired by the geography and environments of iconic destination planets throughout the galaxy. With the serving of each course, a brief introduction presents the name, inspiration and ingredients for the dishes. The meal includes group appetizers for the table, a choice of entrée and a specialty plated dessert. You can indicate your preference for first or second dinner seating when you book your vacation package.

Breakfast and lunch are also available in the glamorous Crown of Corellia Dining Room. Start your day with a unique off-planet breakfast of hot and cold small plates and a variety of beverages including juices, fresh brewed coffee and Bubo Wamba Family Farms blue milk. During lunch, choose from a collection of small bites, like sandwiches, soups, mini flatbreads, assorted salads and sweets

Also released today is a new commercial for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

I'm pretty sure the Imagineers of days past survived projects they worked on being killed. And there were alot of them, even well into development (Tony Baxter seemed to have the most)

You have to assume they are primarily using the support buildings adjacent to the main Starcruiser building? I wonder if this is going to be the DHS WDI field office for Monstropolis/RNRC to save them having to build demountables like they are at DAK and MK?

I bet the daily reminder that your project could die at any time really helps morale

It's openly discussed by cast members that it is now the home of Imagineering Central Florida.

"Disney has a history of abandoning things and letting them rot..." TAX WRITE OFF! (the same way when an apartment complex has an empty apartment, they get to write it off on their taxes)

They're not short of parking lot space.

The only chance they would ever have to turn this around would be to redesign it as an OT Mecca and market straight at gen X…which is where a lot of “Disney adults” lie. That’s it… They completely miscalculated why people go to Orlando: for all the stuff. To lock you in, charge you a fortune, and use pathetically bad source material was a doozy even by Disney hubris standards

It’s Disney, it’ll likely sit there completely untouched for decades. In 10 years an urban explorer will find their way in and be amazed that it looks the same as it did the day it closed, everything still intact, just covered in years of dust. Disney has a history of abandoning things and letting them rot until they find a way of monetizing the land again. (River Country, Discovery island, Life pavilion, etc).

Just thinking out loud but if there is ever going to be a relaunch of Starcruiser in any format I wonder if it would be around the time of Mandalorian and Grogu film next summer?

I think AT THIS POINT IN TIME with no announcements on what will become of the 'hotel', I think Disney should just cut their loses and demolish it. That will provide more land for expansion!

I'm forever thankful for this project, because it encapsulated everything that was and still is wrong with Disney's parks division circa 2016-2025. First from Bob Chapek, now from Josh D'Amaro. (Who turns out have the same failed leadership style, even if they have different tailors) The hubris, the cheap budget cuts, the heavy cringe, the 24 year old Comms interns writing press releases, the executive smugness, the blatant inability to tend to details, the brazen greed, the fine art of over-promising and under-delivering. Also the lobby line dancing... "AMAZZZZING!" All of it was just so wonderful to behold. I'm glad they gave this gift to us, and may we cherish it forever!
