The walkway between Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Magic Kingdom has reopened to guests this evening after a lengthy closure.
Disney originally notified guests with reservations through the end of the year about the closure which began in mid-February 2023, but the walkway reopened earlier this evening.
The closure was to allow work to continue on the refurbishment project at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.
The Grand Floridian Resort to Magic Kingdom walkway opened in late 2020 after years of being requested by guests who wanted to bypass Disney transportation and make their own way to Magic Kingdom from the hotel. The walkway also allows guests to walk from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdom, via Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.
