If you're a Disney Annual Passholder, you want to be among the first to experience new attractions. With the upcoming previews for Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom, you may have missed out on getting a Magic Kingdom park reservation which are all now at capacity. Don't worry! There's still a way for you to join the early previews.
Preview Dates and Current Reservation Status
Tiana's Bayou Adventure previews are scheduled for June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 20. Magic Kingdom park reservations for these dates are at capacity, but there are still opportunities for Passholders without a Magic Kingdom reservation to participate.
Virtual Queue System
To join the Tiana's Bayou Adventure previews, Passholders need to join a virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app. The queue opens twice a day at 7:00 am and 1:00 pm. Here's how you can make it work without a Magic Kingdom park reservation:
- 7:00 am Virtual Queue: This queue is only available to those with a Magic Kingdom reservation. If you don't have a reservation, this slot won't be accessible.
- 1:00 pm Virtual Queue: This is your key to joining the preview without a Magic Kingdom reservation.
Steps to Join the 1:00 pm Virtual Queue
Park Reservation for Any Other Theme Park: Ensure you have a park reservation for any other theme park (Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom) on the day you want to visit Magic Kingdom for the preview. Note that you do not need to have entered a theme park to be able to request to join the virtual queue at 1:00 pm. Without a reservation at a park, you will not be able to join the virtual queue.
Join the Virtual Queue: The 1:00 pm virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a park reservation to any theme park for that day.
Preparation (12:50 pm):
- Open the My Disney Experience app.
- Navigate to the "Virtual Queues" section.
- Confirm your party members are correctly listed.
Execution (1:00:00 pm):
At precisely 1:00:00 pm, tap the "Refresh' button, immediately followed by the "Join Queue" button. Both buttons are in the same position on the screen. Do not use pull to refresh as it is too slow.

In most cases, you must enter the theme park where you made a reservation before visiting Magic Kingdom.
Note that you can enter Magic Kingdom on June 13, 14, 17, 18, and 20 (weekdays) after 2:00 pm without visiting another park first. For the preview on June 16 (weekend), you must enter the park for which you made a reservation before park-hopping to Magic Kingdom.
After Securing a Place in the Virtual Queue

- Once notified, you will have a specific time window to arrive at the attraction. Be prompt!
Important Tips
Plan Ahead: Make your park reservation for another park as soon as possible. Reservations can fill up quickly, especially during preview days.
Be Prepared: Ensure your My Disney Experience app is updated and you're logged in well before 1:00 pm.
Timing is Key: Be ready to join the virtual queue exactly at 1:00 pm; preparations should begin a few minutes before to ensure you are ready. Set an alarm or reminder to help you stay on track, and use another device, such as an Apple Watch, to precisely time your actions.
Preview is Not Guaranteed: Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to participate in the preview. Boarding groups for a virtual queue are limited, subject to availability, and not guaranteed. Not all boarding groups may be called to return based on the attraction's availability.
