Orlando International Airport had put a notice on its website overnight that it would be ceasing operations on Saturday September 9 at 5pm.
That notice has since been removed, with no additional information on when the airport expects to close. Airlines are continuing to cancel flights in and out of MCO.
Latest updates from the NWS suggest severe weather will be impacting Central Florida overnight Sunday and into Monday, so disruption at the airports remains likely.
The airport is recommending that flyers contact their airline for latest updates and information.
