Disney World Resort Hotels Raise Valet Parking Fees

Starting today, guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels will notice an increase in valet parking fees.

The nightly rate for valet parking has risen from $39 to $42 (plus tax), available at Disney Deluxe, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

Valet parking at Walt Disney World is now $42 per night

Today's new pricing is the second increase in 2024, which saw a price hike in February to $39 from $33.

Overnight self-parking remains complimentary for guests staying at Disney Resort hotels, a perk re-introduced last year.

Here's a quick overview of the current parking options at Walt Disney World Resort hotels:

Complimentary Self-Parking: Available for overnight guests staying at Disney Resort hotels. Day guests visiting for select dining, shopping, entertainment, and recreation experiences also receive free standard self-parking.

Valet Parking: Available for $42 per night (plus tax) at Disney Deluxe and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, as well as Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Valet service provides convenience for guests who prefer not to self-park.

$611 for a day at MK over Christmas week using a 7-day Park Hopper (and dividing the price amongst 7 days) and then adding the LLPP at what will likely be the highest price point (plus tax). Just to get into the park and have 1 LL entry for whatever rides you're able to do that day.

Well if you add the Lightning Lane Premiere pass to a standard ticket you can essentially be paying $700/day...There is nothing that is new or cool enough in any of the parks for the next 3+ years that would get me to pay that kind of price. Certainly none of the current offerings... Not sure what the current realistic date for the Animal Kingdom additions is currently sitting at, but can't imagine it will truly open before 2027-8 Certainly the Carsland Project and Villains section won't open before 2028-9... So Maybe EPIC will have some very good years to kick off the park... As the first new park in decades, it will definitely be busy...especially if it really turns out to be amazing.

MVMCP smashed through the $200 barrier this year at the top end, with 3 dates being priced at $209/person and 2 dates at $219/person after holding at $199/person on the high side the previous 2 years. Plus, the number of $199/person events has gone up: 2 in 2022 3 in 2023 8 in 2024 Once something breaks a psychological barrier, like $100/ticket, there are few similar barriers until you reach the next additional digit.

Price gouging only occurs on necessities. WDW is NOT a necessity.

That $199 ticket is already over $200 after tax No, Disney doesn't get or charge that 6.5%, but the guest pays it regardless. I think once you get over $150, $175 a day, $200+ isn't a shocker. Parties and such have been close to that before.
