Disney World Extends Operating Hours at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Through October 2024

Disney has extended operating hours for both Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom through mid-October 2024, with earlier openings and later closings on select days.

Operating hours have been extended at Walt Disney World during October 2024

Magic Kingdom

October 2: 9 am to 10 pm (previously 9 am to 9 pm)
October 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18: 8 am to 6 pm (previously 9 am to 6 pm)
October 5, 7, 9, 12, 13, 16, 19: 9 am to 11 pm (previously 9 am to 9 pm)

Disney's Animal Kingdom

October 1-3, 7-10, 16-17: 8 am to 6 pm (previously 9 am to 6 pm)
October 4-6, 12-15, 18-19: 8 am to 7 pm (previously 9 am to 6 pm)
October 11: 8 am to 8 pm (previously 9 am to 6 pm)

In addition to the extended hours, operating hours for all Walt Disney World parks are now available through early December 2024.

Notes and reminders: EPCOT has a delayed opening at 10am this Sunday, November 3, due to the runDisney Half Marathon. Animal Kingdom is currently scheduled for a 9am opening on Sunday, November 17, rather than 8am. Oh yeah I agree. With the park closing at 6 pm, it doesn't feel like it's "Into the night" as much as the others.

Extended at DAK is very underrated. It’s probably the most beautiful park at night. It’s about the same as Epcot where half the rides/attractions are closed.
