Fingerprint scanners are back at Walt Disney World theme park main entrances after being suspended due to the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
The scanners have been reintroduced at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Magic Kingdom over the past couple of weeks.
The fingerprint scanners are designed to prevent multiple people from using the same ticket, a form of ticket fraud that Disney is keen to avoid.
When the parks reopened from the COVID-19 shutdown last year, all fingerprint scanners were covered and not used to avoid the possibility of virus contamination on the scanner surfaces.
