Disney's new tiered ticketing comes into effect tomorrow February 28 2016, bringing a significant change to anyone who uses single day park tickets.
Single day tickets will now be divided into three tiers, Value, Regular and Peak, with 8 to 11 months of advance notice of which tier any particular days falls within.
Full details will be available tomorrow, but until then, here is a run-down of what we know so far.
Single Day Tickets
Value tier 1 Day Tickets will cost $105 per day at the Magic Kingdom, and $97 at the other three parks.
Regular tier 1 Day Tickets will cost $110 per day at the Magic Kingdom, and $102 at the other three parks.
Peak tier 1 Day Tickets will cost $124 at the Magic Kingdom, and $114 at the other three parks.
As a comparison, current pricing puts a single day ticket at $105 for the Magic Kingdom and $97 for the other three parks. The lowest cost ticket in the new tier pricing is the same.
Single day tickets already purchased can be used on any day until it expires.
