Construction is continuing at a rapid pace in Disney's upcoming Flaming Crossings Town Center just outside of Walt Disney World property off Western Way on the western edge of property.
Walgreens is the first store to have signage up, and appears to be very close to an opening.
Joining Walgreens will be Target, PDQ, Five Guys, Ben & Jerry's, Dunkin', Wendy's, Five Below, Domino's, Ellie Lou's Brews & BBQ, Firehouse Subs, Persimmon Hollow Brewing Co., Pieology Pizzeria, Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ and a UPS Store.
Other buildings are largely complete on the exterior and are currently undergoing interior fitting.
A wide view of the area shows the future site of a 7 Eleven gas station.
The Town Center itself features a street of more than 10 units.
Located just off State Road 429 and near to the Western Way entrance to Walt Disney World, Disney rebooted its 10 year old Flamingo Crossings development last year, with an announcement of new plans to bring 29 retail and restaurant buildings across 45 acres, to be developed in three phases.
In addition to serving guests of Walt Disney World, it will also be conveniently located to serve the recently opened College Program housing complex at Flamingo Crossings Village. College Program Cast Members are expected to begin arriving again in June after more than a year of the program being suspended due to the pandemic.
