The Disney Destiny is one step closer to completion as the final structural block is now in place at the Meyer Werft shipyard. With construction progressing, attention has shifted to the ship's exterior details, including the reveal of its signature bow art—an iconic design element featured on every Disney Cruise Line vessel.
For the Disney Destiny, Minnie Mouse takes center stage, striking a heroic pose in a new ensemble that aligns with the ship's "Heroes and Villains" theme. With a cape billowing behind her, Minnie's outfit reinforces the ship's design direction, which will be reflected throughout the vessel.
Continuing a long-standing Disney Cruise Line tradition, the bow art features elegant, hand-painted filigree, a design hallmark dating back to the launch of the Disney Magic. Each Disney Cruise Line ship showcases a unique, character-inspired image on its bow, and the Disney Destiny's artwork keeps that legacy alive with Minnie Mouse leading the way.
The Disney Destiny is set to embark on its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on November 20, 2025. The four-night cruise will provide guests with a first look at the ship's features and include stops at both Disney Cruise Line's island destinations in The Bahamas—Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Following the maiden voyage, the Disney Destiny will continue with an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Each cruise will feature a day at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay. Some itineraries will include stops at both islands, while select cruises will offer additional destinations such as Nassau, Bahamas, and Cozumel, Mexico.
