D23 announces schedule for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products presentations at the 2019 D23 Expo

D23, the official Disney fan club, has today announced the full line-up for the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products presentations.

D23 Expo 2017

The main Disney Parks presentation by Chairman Bob Chapek will take place on Sunday August 25 at 10:30am PT.

Updates will include what's new and what's next at all the resorts around the world, with more details to be announced about the changes coming to Epcot.

Here is the rest of the line-up.

Friday, Aug. 23

12:30pm – The Music and Sounds of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at D23 Expo Arena

Saturday, Aug. 24

12:30pm – Haunted Mansion: Celebrating 50 Years at D23 Expo Arena
3:30pm – Immersive Worlds: Bringing Stories to Life in Disney Parks at Stage 28
6 pm – Travels with Marty: A Conversation with the Sklars and Imagineers at Walt Disney Archives Stage

Sunday, Aug. 25

10am – Behind the Art of Disney Costuming: Heroes, Villains and Spaces Between at Stage 28
10:30am – The main Disney Parks presentation by Chairman Bob Chapek
2pm – Inspiring Women Behind Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Stage 28
4pm – Magic Journey: My Fantastical Walt Disney Imagineering Career with Kevin Rafferty at Walt Disney Archives Stage
6pm – Marc Davis in His Own Words – Imagineering the Disney Theme Park

If you want to see the presentations in person, single-day tickets for Friday and Sunday of D23 Expo 2019 are available for $89 for one-day adult admission and $69 for children 3–9. Gold Members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club can purchase tickets for $77 for a one-day adult admission and $59 for children 3–9. Single-day Saturday tickets and three-day passes are sold out. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but in the photo from D23 that is on the home page to this web site (the one where all the characters are on stage), it's bugging me, who the heck are the 2 girls beside mickey/in front of Aladdin? I keep seeing this photo every time I land on this site and I feel like I should recognize them but don't!

I’m pretty sure the imagineering stuff just goes back to Mickey’s of Glendale though. Has anyone seen imagineer products outside of events?

No joke. the camp shirts in Mickey’s of Glendale are selling for double the price. I only got one, which I intend to keep, I should have gotten one of each to sell to pay for the trip! Now I know why they were enforcing 1 of each design at the registers (the people next to me had to put stuff back).

Yes, i have seen D23 event merch for sale at Disneyland's 'Disneyana' art / collecibles shop post-event. I visited the Park during a trip to California in 2017, and was stunned to find a lot of the Epcot 'retro' merch that was exclusive for a event earlier that year. It was a nice surprise...picked up a really nice shirt i would not have otherwise been able to get. :) -

Well I posted that picture in this thread before so I assumed that’s the one you saw ;) It is a pretty nice shirt. Thinking about it now I probably should’ve gotten more at the expo than just the one shirt for myself. Could’ve payed off my trip with eBay 🤣

Hey get out of my head wizard!!! That's the one. I love it. Not enough to give an ebay scalper 500% markup for it, but I do love it. Bummer it wont come to the parks but I get it, it's supposed to be exclusive, that's probably the appeal. Ah well.

This shirt or a different one? Exclusive merch is one of the big draws of D23 so no I don’t think they ever go out except for resellers.

Probably a dumb question, but other than bits and pieces on ebay, does d23 merch ever make its way to the parks? Usually I'm not a big merch guy, but I saw an Epcot shirt there that looked amazing. Curious if I should just get it out of my head now.
