D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will come to Anaheim, California from August 9 to 11, 2024.

Next year's one-of-a-kind experience will have shows, new venues and multiple days of entertainment that brings together the wonderful world of Disney - including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and much, much more.

The D23 kickoff celebration will take place at Disneyland Resort on August 8 followed by shopping, exhibits, panels, presentations, and more on August 9 – 11 at the Anaheim Convention Center during the day, extending into the evening at the Honda Center—the bigger home to marquee shows.

In addition, there will also be a special D23 Day at Angel Stadium, where D23 fans are invited to attend the Los Angeles Angels vs. New York Mets game on August 4.

Tickets for D23 will go on sale in Spring 2024, with ticketing options to be announced later for access to the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center. Admission for D23 Day at Angel Stadium and the D23 kickoff celebration at Disneyland Resort will be available as separate ticketed events.

Additional details for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will be announced in early 2024.

During the D23 announcements on Saturday August 10, it will not be possible to create new threads. As announcements happen, dedicated threads for each will be created for you to participate in.

I like how he's "confident." As if the president of DL doesn't know for sure if an announcement about DL might be pulled at the last second.

One more thing. Disney's alliance with Epic seems odd, when you consider how they're basically blacklisted from Apple services post failed lawsuit. (You can't play Fortnite on iPhone no more) Disney has a very strong relationship with Apple, and yet they're also playing Team Epic? I wonder how they'll reconcile that? It's already having the awkward effect of limiting anyone on the Apple ecosystem from engaging with their digital event. It's like a paradox.

Baffling move though. What kid will be interested in watching a Disney Parks conference in Fortnite? They'd want to play the actual game! Anyone actually interested most likely doesn't have Fortnite as a primary hobby.

What's the point of watching a delayed stream when social media will let me know all the announcements in real time? And at least that spares you the headache of listening to dull corporate speeches.

This better be true, a lot of the rumours lately were that most the attention would be on Florida!

He is actually quite media trained and expressive. That was just after I shouted if he’d consider overlaying Everest with Frozen. Once the handlers explained Everest was that nondescript India coaster he lit up. Birds flew overhead and the skies parted. I can’t share more because I’m now on payroll.
