Chewbacca, C-3PO and robot R2-D2 join Walt Disney World guests for Star Wars Weekends for five consecutive weekends beginning May 5 at the Disney-MGM Studios.
Guests can meet the cosmic characters from the George Lucas films and get acquainted with the actors behind the masks, including new characters Darth Maul and Queen Amidala. The actors will take part in autograph and question-and-answer sessions and motorcades each Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Fans buckle up for a flight to the Moon of Endor in Star Tours, the action-packed flight simulator attraction that synchronizes a stunning film with the gyration of a simulator. A Video Starcade features classic and new videos, CD-ROM and computer games.
Daily trivia contests, live bands, face painting, Jedi arts training and author book signings are part of each weekend. As the sun goes down, the energy heats up with a fireworks show with a special musical salute to Star Wars.
Weekends are May 5-7, May 12-14, May 19-21, May 26-28 and June 2-4.
