Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has just one date remaining on December 15 for 2022, following December 13 selling out this earlier today.

Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show 2022

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has shown robust sales after a slow start and higher pricing. As we saw with Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the entire season will be sold out. Next year will undoubtedly see higher prices driven by the high demand seen this year.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2022 event dates are:

November: 8 (sold out), 10 (sold out), 11 (sold out), 14 (sold out), 15 (sold out), 17 (sold out), 18 (sold out), 20 (sold out), 22 (sold out), 27 (sold out), 29 (sold out)
December: 1 (sold out), 2 (sold out), 4 (sold out), 6 (sold out), 8 (sold out), 9 (sold out), 11 (sold out), 13 (sold out), 15, 16 (sold out), 18 (sold out), 20 (sold out), 22 (sold out)

Returning shows and entertainment include “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” and “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.”

Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration 2022

Seasonal attraction overlays include the Jingle Cruise, and as an exclusive treat for event attendees, Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and Mad Tea Party will all receive a special holiday makeover.

“A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas” takes place on the Rockettower Plaza Stage.

Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show 2022

In honor of the 50th Anniversary celebration, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party attendees will discover three jolly new photo opportunities. Guests will also receive a special 50th Anniversary commemorative keepsake, themed for the holidays.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will take place from 7pm to midnight, with entry available as early as 4pm.

I find it odd how they are doing Christmas projections on normal nights but not on party nights.

Went to the Christmas party last Thursday and there wasn’t even projections. Just generic green, blue and red colors with snowflakes. It honestly was underwhelming and heard many people call the castle ugly.

It means maximum. My source here is an attractions manager for tomorrow land. They're running the maximum amount of space mountain cars on both tracks. The maximum amount of Grand Prix cars they can but they do cut them when the line gets too short because it creates a hazard of not having guests to put in the cars while other guests are still driving around. And finally of course the maximum amount of people mover cars. I also have a friend who is an adventureland attractions manager and that's where I'm getting the information that they are having a high amount of engine problems and a little bit of a sourcing problem getting parts to repair them. But they're running the maximum amount of boats that they have available to them. Now. Those are the only two I know, but I can't imagine. Attractions managers at other parts of the very same park are under different guidance to run less. Purely antidotal from personal observation, I have not noticed any decrease use of boats at both pirates of the Caribbean and it's a small world. And every time I'm on big thunder they are running either four or five trains.

The parks aren’t simply operating with the capacity and ability to handle guests that they were pre pandemic. Most things yes are back to normal but it’s a ton of little things that add up to make the parks feel more crowded for the most part. Shops, specific dining, meet and greets, and entertainment offerings that just haven’t reopened and probably won’t. A push for mobile ordering that forced guests to wait outside the restaurant rather than in line to order. It all adds up even though each piece might not seem like much.

Rats. We really enjoyed the Party when we went, especially the ride lines. However, the lighting of the castle lights and how it looked for the rest of the evening was spectacular.

Is this true for sure? If so, does "optimum" mean "maximum"? Maybe to them "optimum" means "financially optimal." Just askin'. If the attractions are at full tilt, that's great! What explains, then, the more crowded "feeling" even when numbers are down?

JC is an exception. They have lost several boats to engine problems. It is not.... I'm running less boats because they don't drive revenue. Space mountain runs with its full allotment of coaster cars as does big thunder. Most the attractions are running up their optimum capacity. There are exceptions such as splash, mountain and jungle cruise. But that is not a reflection of a willful intent to run less ride vehicles because they don't drive revenue. Honestly that's not a thing.

Why should they pay more to pack more people into more non-revenue-generating ride vehicles, when they can pack them in to the sidewalks, generating cupcake dollars? Why should they bother even to keep the attractions open. Just shut 'em down. MK has plenty. How many boats are running in JC these days? We were shocked by @lentesta 's data on this a few months back, and now it's just—ho hum—accepted as normal. We chuckle knowingly at the WSJ article, but I'll bet we're the only ones reading!
