The holidays have arrived at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and this year the tree has made the move to the center of the park in Echo Lake.

The lake is in the process of being refilled, but the tree and new decorations are now in place around the lake and in the water. We'll be back for another look when everything is finished.

The holidays officially kick-off at Disney's Hollywood on Studios November 9 with the debut of the new Sunset Seasons Greetings and the return of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!

Wow! Not as a Christmas light display, but as a love letter to Star Wars, that was great imo! Most impressive! I still mourn the loss of the Osborne lights though. We used to go as much as possible and just get lost in the beauty of it all. I like the new Christmas stuff they are doing but none of it comes close to the Osborne lights for me personally.

While very cool. I think part of the charm of the Osborne lights was its traditionalness. Which is why it lost something with the move from residential street and yet again with the conversion to LED.

For those longing for Osborne Lights, I had been critical of it for having outdated technology. Most of their lights were strings that went on and off as a string. There was only the one tunnel that had individually addressable and they were spread out rather sparsely. For an idea of what WDW could do with a Christmas light display, I give you this...

The beginning was different in how they came out and the ending was completely different with them dancing and singing a few really great holiday songs. The middle was basically the same. Of course Olaf was there and it just felt really special.

Finally got to see the new holiday version of the Frozen Sing along show today and everyone in my group loved it. I do wish they would have kept the part with her singing Let it Go at the very end but overall it was a lot of fun. :)

DHS looks great. Love Echo Lake, ToT layover and JBJB. A few areas that needs a little attention are down by Toy Story Mania And Muppets/Grand Avenue areas. Love the feel of the park

I thought there seemed to be decent pyro for JBJB. Not sure what people want (well, I think I know, they'd rather have all fireworks and no projections). I know some are tired of projections with fireworks but it seems like they're here to stay, this is how shows are being presented right now. HEA is very much a fireworks show as it is a projection show. And they do it well. JB/JB isn't spectacular but it's not too bad.

I thought Jingle Bam was just OK. Not enough pyro and like many of the newer shows I find myself torn between watching just the projections or just the fireworks. I think Happily Ever After is the only one so far that getting closer to striking a balance that doesn’t leave you feeling like you missed out on something.
