Disney has today announced plans for the 2021 holiday season at Walt Disney World, including details on the ticketed event coming to the Magic Kingdom.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will not take place this year, and its place comes a continuation of the After Hours events that we have seen for the Halloween season. No word yet on pricing, although expect something similar to Disney After Hours Boo Bash, with tickets ranging from $129 to $199.
'Disney Very Merriest After Hours,' begins November 8 and continues on select nights through the holiday season until December 21 2021. The four-hour experience with feature 'Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,' Disney characters throughout the park, snowfall on Main Street U.S.A., attraction overlays, holiday music and décor, treats included and more.
The event will be open to a limited number of guests after regular park operating hours, with lower wait times on more than 20 available attractions. Tickets will go on sale in August, with an early purchase window available to guests of select Disney Resort hotels.
'Disney Very Merriest After Hours' will take place from 9pm to 1am on select nights. Event tickets will grant admission to Magic Kingdom park as early as 7pm. These dated event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or Disney Park Pass theme park reservation.
