Yes I suspected this would be the case. Any idea on show length?

What a farce, that skating show needs a much bigger stage and an actual theatre. Too bad they’ve gotten rid of most of those. Would it be really that bad if they vanished Vacation Fun for a bit and had it in there?

Any popcorn buckets confirmed tonight? Got the elf Mickey last night but just wondering

I am going to guess that means there’s also no seating?

Friend of mine was at the dress rehearsal yesterday for Glisten and in their words, you cannot see any of the show unless you are very close to the front

I cannot believe the first day is tomorrow and we still don’t know who the “international skating stars” are. I’m in a hybrid state of excitement and dread.

If I recall the times I've seen it at IAAPA, perhaps with exception of the non-ice curling product that appeared to be a different solution, that sort of plastic ice is basically the industry standard... Annoyingly.

According to the Walt Disney World website, opening night (November 9) for Jollywood Nights has sold out (this is the first date in 2024 to sell out).

I don’t know if all plastic ice technology is the same, but when I’ve struggled to skate on it in the past, high end blades absolutely leave grooves in the plastic. I think with duller blades it may not leave as much damage?

No kidding. I guess the surface is somewhat malleable, then?

Pressure washers or floor scrubbers

Where do they keep the Zamboni? Serious question - How do they smooth out plastic ice? Is it some kind of heat treatment?

Final dress rehearsals for Disney Holidays in Hollywood are occurring after park-close. Can see that they are utlizing the new updated tech in the Theater of the Stars that I previously reported about a couple weeks ago here Thread 'New lighting/tech upgrades at Theater of the Stars for Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage'. Screenshot from IG story of Belle CM in BATB Live! (they reuse the principal cast in the special show).

Didn’t mean to get bogged down in technicals, I think it already tells us what we need to know that they haven’t actually announced any skaters yet.
