The clock is ticking for high school students nationwide to submit their applications or nominations for the 2025 18th annual Disney Dreamers Academy.
The application window for this educational mentorship program, aimed at high school students from culturally diverse backgrounds, closes on October 31. Disney Dreamers Academy, based at Walt Disney World, invites 100 students each year to join an immersive, four-day program that offers career-building workshops, guidance, and mentoring with well-known celebrities, industry experts, educators, and Disney cast members.
For those unfamiliar, the Disney Dreamers Academy was founded in 2008 to help young people develop professional skills and life strategies while exploring career paths in business, entertainment, STEM fields, and beyond. In addition to introducing students to various industries, the program equips them with valuable leadership, communication, and networking tools.
The program is open to U.S. high school students ages 13 to 19. Applications are reviewed by a panel of leaders who will select the 100 participants, to be announced in early 2025. Each selected Dreamer will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, along with one parent or guardian, for an experience blending education and fun at "The Most Magical Place On Earth.”
To apply or nominate a deserving student, visit DisneyDreamersAcademy.com by the October 31 deadline. Additional details and updates are also available on social media: Facebook and Instagram.
This program is a core part of Walt Disney World’s commitment to supporting diverse communities by inspiring the next generation to pursue their dreams and make meaningful contributions.
