The first Disney After Hours event of 2025 at Walt Disney World, scheduled for January 6 at Magic Kingdom, has officially sold out.

This popular late-night experience offers guests exclusive access to some of the park’s most popular attractions with significantly shorter wait times, and complimentary snacks, including ice cream, popcorn, and select beverages.

What is Disney After Hours?

Disney After Hours is a separately ticketed event, giving guests the chance to experience Magic Kingdom after it closes to the general public. Attendees can enter the park as early as 7 pm and stay for three hours after closing.

The January 6 event marks the beginning of the 2025 Disney After Hours season, which will also include events at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Upcoming Magic Kingdom Event Dates

While January 6 is now fully booked, there are still tickets available for other Magic Kingdom After Hours dates, including:

  • January: 13, 20, 27
  • February: 3, 10, 17, 24
  • March: 3, 17, 24, 31
  • April: 7, 28
  • May: 5, 12, 19

Ticket Availability

Tickets for Disney After Hours events range from $175 to $185 (plus tax) per person for Magic Kingdom. Discounts are available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

I wish they would have these on nights that arent already extra magic hours for deluxes.

That’s because the demand is so YUGE that the animatronic frogs were threatening to strike for higher voltage if they made them work one minute extra

These after hours events are becoming less and less of a value proposition, but scrapping TBA off of there is really pitiful.

We all know Disney changes things without notice...

It's just a guess. I could be wrong. Let's see if it's added back once it gets warmer at night.

I’m going to MK After Hours this Monday and it’ll be so cold I don’t think I’d want to ride TBA anyway. That said, I really hope TRON doesn’t go down with Big Thunder already out for the year.

I was planning on booking MK After Hours for our next trip, but if Tiana’s isn’t included I don’t think it’ll be worth the price tag. Even with the 7pm mix-in, I doubt the technology will allow us to join the virtual queue. It’s not that I have some deep-seeded love for Tiana’s either… but with that and BTMRR down it doesn’t make sense for our group that will be mostly teenagers and young adults. Lightning Lanes or maybe upgrading to Deluxe to get extended hours is looking to be a better option.

What makes you say that? It's open this morning and was reportedly scrubbed from the Disney Parks Blog announcement. Also, it wasn't printed as being available on the After Hours brochure

Wouldn't TBA get added when the weather warms? Technically, you could do TBA before Park Close for the Public unless TBA was down for Day Guests Yesterday?

monothingie24 days ago

I'm sure a proportionate refund of the up-charge event where only 2 of the 5 E-Tickets for the park were operating will be coming for those who attended.

I'm guessing TBA is weather-related. But it does leave the park unbalanced.

Looked like TRON was down all night, too 😞
