Disney After Hours at EPCOT

The final Disney After Hours event at EPCOT on August 24 is now sold out, completing a successful run for the event in its final weeks.

After a slow start where the EPCOT was overshadowed by the more popular After Hours event at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the final five nights sold out.

With Disney After Hours at EPCOT now sold out, there are no longer any After Hours events available at any of the Walt Disney World parks.

Disney is yet to announce future Disney After Hours events, but their success this year would seem to make their return in 2024 very likely.

If you are looking for a hard ticketed event this fall, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs through early November, followed by Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party through the end of the year.

After Hours pricing is (obviously) up compared to this year: MK: +$14, 2 additional nights added DHS: +$9, same # of nights Epcot: +$8, 1 additional night added Since the event debuted in 2016, MK After Hours prices have risen $34 or 23%. The event had initially priced itself at $149, before dropping down to $119 the following year in 2017. Compared to 2017, the event has risen $64, or 54%.

We just went in June 2024, and Epcot After Hours was the only Disney Parks that we did. We did (between getting in 7pm and close at 1am): UK Shops Japanese Shops Germany Shops Mexico Shops Starbucks Gran Fiesta Tour Spaceship Earth Connections Shop Soarin' Living with the Land Luminous Guardians x3 Test Track Remy Nemo Ride Snacks

When I did Epcot's AH last August my group was able to get Remy, Frozen, and GotG plus Soarin' and Figment (1 or both of those last 2 may have been before the park closed for day guests, my memory is fuzzy - but the others were all during AH hours) with a few breaks for the included snacks and drinks.

I'm annoyed that the DAH in Epcot starts so late. It's obvious they want it to be after the Festival of the Arts, but, that's just dumb, because it will then take place during Flower and Garden. Why is it trying to avoid one Festival in place of another? There's a small window in which I can do both FotA and Epcot DAH in the same trip. Also... when Epcot's DAH is online.... what's there to do but Cosmic Rewind over and over again? Which I don't mind. I once used DAK's DAH to ride FoP 17 times.

So AH is a hint for Starlight. Looks like Memorial Weekend 2025?

SquishyAug 29, 2024

Starlight won't debut until after MK afterhours ends.

Plus, we're also wondering if MK wants to continue the 2025 AH Season after Starlight opens. Of if Starlight needs to be Twice a Night for Weeks/Months before Party Seasons 2025, which would count AH out.......or at least DE.......

Magic Kingdom DAH ends in May. We're thinking it could be hint to the opening of Starlight but its just a guess.

There are dates in June that have been announced.

djlaoscAug 28, 2024

It's what happened this year - they only announce the first few months, and then as they sell out, probably around January/February, they will announce June-September or something like that. We went in June this year, and we had to wait until the second announcement to get our dates.

Starship824Aug 28, 2024

Depending on when Starlight debuts I wonder if there will be a chance to watch HEA, DE and Starlight in the same night next year. If that ends up being true that sounds like a *heck* of a night.

Steve any thoughts on AH Season ending in May.......so far?
