EPCOT will be home to a new Spaceship Earth Lounge in 2025.

Located in the former corporate lounge overlooking World Celebration, the new space will be inspired by the geometric sphere.

Disney says the zen space for families to gather and enjoy refreshments will be draped with rich textures and warm metallic tones, giving it a mysterious and elegant intimacy.

The existence of this structure from day one has been one of the greatest missteps in the history of Imagineering IMHO. Its scale and placement destroy the very concept of the geosphere by blocking the bottom quarter from nearly every park view. They simultaneously pulled off an engineering magic trick while blindfolding the audience. The concept art for the pre-Covid remodel has me excited as it looked to cut the height in half. Bad show from day one.

I understand the urinal pucks in the men's restroom will smell like Rome-on-fire when peed upon. Only one way to know...

They'll undoubtedly paint the inside to resemble the Alucobond tiles on SSE. Synergy!!!

Absolutely true. This is the inspiration received straight from the EPCOT Coloring Book. (Appropriate for Ages 2-10)

Consultants need not ride the attraction because "books make it easier to invent the future in every field." They can just read about it.

Great to see the Gensler Lounge is taking shape nicely. Too bad they couldn't find any inspiration from inside SSE to gussy up the lounge a tad. But I'm sure the consultants working on the design have never even set foot inside SSE.

The best they can do is an 8oz bottle of water and a 1oz bag of pretzels. Anything more would harm the bottom line.

It’ll be interesting to see if the next version of SSE gets a sponsor. That company’s employees wouldn’t have a private lounge to enjoy, but maybe a front of the line pass to this one?

I've seen more places in the $10 million+ range than under it for sale, but I wasn't 100% sure if that was only because the bigger houses were on the market more often.

Yes but then there are HOA fees, mandatory purchases, Mickey mouse surcharges and fee fees.........

I believe the new Ft Wilderness DVC Camping Area will come in at just under that amount... (not including closing costs, enhanced experiences, and annual dues).

Can I set up my tent for $1.5m?
