Disney has announced that Scat Cat's Club – Café at Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be closing for refurbishment starting September 23, 2024. The café is expected to reopen in mid-October 2024.
According to a statement on the official Walt Disney World website, guests will still be able to enjoy popular menu items such as Mickey-shaped beignets, specialty beignets, and specialty coffees during the refurbishment. These items will be available at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, the resort's main dining location.
No additional details have been provided regarding the scope of the refurbishment or any potential changes that might be introduced upon reopening. Scat Cat's Club – Café is known for its New Orleans-inspired treats, making it a popular spot for guests staying at or visiting the French Quarter resort.
