When it comes to quick service dining, do not underestimate this hotel's food court. The Riverside Mill is amazing. The "lazy river" decor is truely peaceful and the food is wonderful! They have a large variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Definitely try the build-your-pasta option in the italian section. Especially if you're on the dining plan. It stands as a single adult entree on the quick service deal but is so large I made it into two meals easily. And boy did I enjoy it both times!! The bakery also has fabulous options that can be used with your snack credits for breakfast so keep that tip in your back pocket! If I had just one complaint about this place it would only be that the few times we did need to ask a question it seemed like everyone who worked in the food court did not speak very good English, so getting the question answered was very hard. This did not seem to be the case in the lobby however. And this did not stop every one of them from being completely friendly.
This is a large food court quick service restaurant. The choices are typical for fast food, but there are some specials available which are good.
This food court has a lot of choices. The food quality is good. I would recommend it.
Well we stayed here for our third vacation from july15th till 29th.Is it still as good.Yes.The food court has some really nice choices like " Create your own pasta " and the " Carving station " as well as a pizza counter,an awesome salad bar,and superb bakery.Oh how I miss my " Magic Cookie Bar " .And of course there's the burgers & fried chicken. All in All it caters for everyone.:)
Have stayed here twice and love the food court(more choice than pofq)the make your own pasta station is a great idea, watch out tho the portion is huge, and the carving station is also good. Were early birds(up around 6.45am)so the breakfast area is soooo quiet, and the big pizza for takeaway if you happen to be that hungry late on, is a great way to finnish off your day at the parks.all in all, from the muffaletta to pizzas, from pastas to meat salads,a great choice.
This is better than the All Star resorts but not as good as Poly. So you get what you pay for. You are not going to make a special trip to eat here but if you are staying at Riverside then this is a good option. Everyone can finds something to eat here. They do a good job keeping the place clean considering the crowds.
This place is huge - though not big enough I suppose considering the massiveness of the resort, but coming earlier alleviates crowding greatly. It has typical food court food along with a pasta place that's yummy albeit expensive. The dessert bar has scrumptious selections. Like everywhere in Disney, the food is very fresh. The condiments bar is well-designed so traffic flow is good. The features that sets this food court apart from others, however, is the atmosphere. A floor-to-ceiling, working cotton press is the centerpiece. The cashiers wear antebellum-inspired clothing to compliment the resort theme. Window views offer a lake vista as well as views of the distant pool and the tranquil, cobblestone walkway outside. Lastly, service is quick and polite 95% of the time.
