D23 to host TRON Lightcycle Run preview event in March at Walt Disney World

The official Disney fan club D23 has announced details of its TRON Lightcycle Run preview event for its Gold Members.

D23 Gold Members can preview TRON on March 18 2023

The event will be priced at $50 (plus $7 processing fee) for the Gold Member +1. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.

Event Includes:

Complimentary parking at the Transportation Ticket Center
Light refreshment for all Gold members in attendance
Exclusive entry to preview of TRON Lightcycle / Run on Saturday, March 18, 2023
Commemorative keepsake from the Grid
Check-in opens at the Transportation Ticket Center (TTC) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with park admission beginning directly after Gold members receive their credentials and continue to Magic Kingdom Park via monorail or ferry. Gold Members can explore the rest of Tomorrowland up until the event begins at 6:30 p.m. where they will be able to enter the entrance to the attraction. From there, D23 Gold Members can experience TRON Lightcycle / Run until 8:30 p.m.

Done it 2 days in a row now and indeed it was a stampede...people running, jogging...saw one woman drop her phone and cause a dawned pile up as she stopped to pick it up.

I agree, that sun will be burning down on people, also its not the quickest loading for me, with only say 8-10 people in the show room, be interesting how long that line goes. if the line looks long for us, it'll be ILL's all round.

Yes! It’s an excellent ride experience. Definitely a must-do E-ticket. If it was longer and had a properly themed (or better hidden) show-building, it would be among the best additions on property.
