It doesn't officially open until Friday May 27, but Toy Story Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios has unveiled its new third track addition with a soft opening.
Located in the original Soundstage 1 adjacent to the original ride, Toy Story Mania now takes up nearly all of the original soundstage space at the park.
Things will change once the entrance to the attraction is moved to the back of the building as part of the new Toy Story Land, but until then, here is how it works.
Guests enter Toy Story Mania through either the existing standby for FastPass+ lines. Once at the merge point, guests are then either directed up a staircase to the original two tracks, or via a doorway to the new third track, based on capacity at each side.
A long hallway leads to the new addition.
The load area is similar to the original, once again themed as Andy's bedroom.
As it is just a single track, the area is smaller, and unlike the original, it loads and unloads from the same side, and does not have a staircase over the track.
The third track appears to be significantly reducing wait times, with the queue moving much quicker than before.
The exit leads to another long corridor.
And ultimately exits at the very far end of Soundstage 1, near to the entrance of what was the Backlot Tour.
