Following the recent removal of Test Track's canopy structure earlier this week, the iconic marquee sign has now been mostly taken down.

The front of the building is largely cleared of elements from Test Track 2.0, as efforts focus on creating a more streamlined and modern entrance area for the reimagined version of EPCOT's original thrill ride.

The reimagined Test Track will open in 2025 at EPCOT in Walt Disney World.

100% agreed new Test Track 3.0 needs to focus on History of Transportation and future testing techniques and Vehicle innovations.

I doubt the ride itself will focus on the history of transportation. The queue however I’m pretty sure will though. I’m pretty sure the ride portion will focus on future testing techniques and vehicle innovations.

I'm optimistic this version is gonna go back to human transportation overtime, while I won't be as hopeful for anomotronics I could imagine some well used screens and set pieces plus a new score that takes old and new would be nice

I think that smoothed dirt is the existing colored concrete. The only dirt sections are near the footings for the new canopy and that area isn't smooth. The whole front looks like its in a holding pattern waiting for those concrete footings to cure to full hardness. They can't attach structure until they are fully cured.

Me too! I can't wait for new canopies too and the new logo sign!
