Following the recent removal of Test Track's canopy structure earlier this week, the iconic marquee sign has now been mostly taken down.

The front of the building is largely cleared of elements from Test Track 2.0, as efforts focus on creating a more streamlined and modern entrance area for the reimagined version of EPCOT's original thrill ride.

The reimagined Test Track will open in 2025 at EPCOT in Walt Disney World.

This is what I will experience with my 8, 6, 4, and 3 yr old niece and nephews next summer. I can't wait. And I haven't been to WDW since 2017, so there's a lot of new stuff for me, too!

My problem with this is that I only go to Disney every other year and being an active participant in this forum it's hard for me to wait until I see a ride in person.

Exactly why I avoid spoilers for new rides. The first time you experience something when you don't know what to expect is always the best way to experience it. I realize there is an accidental double entendre in my comment.

Probably our best trip was our second trip. Our first trip, our sons were six - and though it was great - they didn't meet the height restrictions for many rides. The following year we all did Everest, Dinosaur, RnR, ToT, Test Track... And the best part was none of us knew the rides (well I had been on ToT years before) or ride systems ahead of time. We were all experiencing them for the first time. I remember all of us gazing up at Everest as the cars traversed the gap wondering "Can we do this?" Waiting in the queue for Aerosmith and watching the launches - "Are we up for this?" I remember my sons and I running up to the entrance of Test Track as the cars whizzed by. They were so excited at that sight and sound!

Ultimate Disney experience is to visit what you love and see a first timers reactions, kids are full of wonder

We once were out on the banking during a 10 minute ride stoppage. Leaning at that angle was not exactly comfortable and wouldn't be much better if moving slowly.

What do you mean, again? When did Disney ever explain what they were referring to? Must there always be snark?

Incomudro2 days ago

That's why its' so rewarding to experience these things with kids.

Again, they were referencing the part shown in the concept art aka the former hill climb test section.

The older you get the harder it is to feel awe in something.

Well put! I miss that sense of awe

As fast as we drive today, I feel like a 65 mph drive is pretty leisurely!

JoeCamel4 days ago

Pretty much need speed with the banking

Well the definition of “leisurely” to some could be driving high speeds. Lol.
