Guests riding Star Tours at Disney's Hollywood Studios can now journey to brand-new destinations inspired by the Disney+ series Ahsoka.

As part of your new mission, you may also encounter transmissions from the stars of Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian - Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin, and Grogu.

With these additions, you'll now have an opportunity to experience one of more than 250 storyline variations aboard the attraction, including a visit to the planet Peridea and Seatos from the Ahsoka series. There is also an encounter with the hyperspace whales.

Star Tours originally debuted on December 15, 1989, at Disney MGM Studios (now Disney's Hollywood Studios) at Walt Disney World Resort. Guests boarded a shuttle to Endor, captained by a nervous droid named Rex, where fun and adventure ensued; flying into the trenches of the Death Star with the X-Wing fighter squadrons or fighting alongside the Rebels in a space battle.

In 2011, the original "flight" was retired. The attraction became Star Tours: The Adventure Continues with new scenes and storylines from the Prequel, Original, and, later, Sequel trilogies, making the ride a unique experience each time Guests rode it.

In 2017, Star Tours was again updated with a new scene inspired by Star Wars The Last Jedi, featuring a journey to the planet Crait.

In 2019, riders got to join a trip to Kef Bir, an ocean moon featured in the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker film.

Rode Star Tours again today, large jolt is still there and it is annoying 😐

Very few things make me happier than getting off the ride and with the music playing -- it's honestly one of my favorite moments in all of WDW. (See profile pic) lol.

I'll tell you what, outside of seeing the falcon, which is awesome, star tours was absolutely a better time than flight of the falcon. I'm an OT guy myself, but I just couldn't help being impressed by rise of the resistance. That said, if it was based on the OT, BEST RIDE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!!!!!! I admit I'm slightly biased. Lol

Confirmed also when I rode on Sunday

As an old, OLD Star Wars fan, I still think Star Tours is the most fun Star Wars attraction in the parks. This update looks awesome and fun. Plus we get to fly with R2 and C3PO and see characters I care about. I like it a lot and am glad its still here.

That was a Space Raccoon.

Disney messed up the programming on Star Tours in the latest update, a large jolt occurs in the middle of the 2nd jump to hyperspace on every POV I watched since the update of the WDW version.

I for one am looking forward to watching the continuing Adventures of Tentacle Head.

Honestly, is so brief it’s probably not even an hour.

Tha RealestApr 06, 2024

That sounded bad. I am guessing Pedro was somehow too busy for an hour’s worth of recording time, but Troy Baker was not?

The site that shall not be named has uploaded a video of the Cassian Andor transmission.

Is it Three? Or one ‘segment’ with three locations covered. Do we know if it’s a chapter two or a chapter four (ending) segment? Edit- I found my answer. It’s one Chapter 4 ending segment. One chapter one sub of Ahsoka for Han Solo, and three new chapter 3 transmissions.

I’d anticipate that leaves open room for another updated tie in with the Mando movie. It seems these updates get partially funded by the studios marketing budgets or something. Hence why we keep getting them.

That just means he's a very good spy.
