Peter Pan's Flight has reopened at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom with a significant change to one of its original show scenes.
While the full extent of the updates was kept under wraps during the six-week closure, it has now been revealed that the Never Land Tribe scene is all-new.
According to Disney "A serene lagoon transitions into a mountaintop community where brightly colored teepees frame the Never Land Tribe's harvest celebration. Here, Tiger Lily and her grandmother gracefully performs the traditional Fancy Shawl Butterfly Dance by the fire, capturing the vibrant spirit of the occasion."

This section of the ride has faced criticism for its outdated and stereotypical depictions of Native American characters.
In response to these concerns, Walt Disney Imagineering has revised the scene to reflect a more respectful and accurate portrayal of Native American culture. This change aligns with Disney's broader initiative to address cultural sensitivity across its parks and attractions. The Village scene, which previously included caricatured representations, has now been reimagined with more thoughtful and inclusive elements that honor the cultural heritage it depicts.
