'Once Upon A Time' projection show to replace 'Celebrate the Magic' in November

The Magic Kingdom will debut a new castle projection show on November 4 - "Once Upon A Time."

Taking over from "Celebrate the Magic," the new show includes Mrs. Potts from “Beauty and the Beast” sharing bedtime stories with Chip, taking them on a magical trip through the most adventurous scenes from favorite Disney films like “Cinderella,” “Peter Pan,” “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.”

Scenes include a flight with Peter Pan from London to Never Land, the Mad Hatter’s whimsical tea party, and a daring duel between Gaston and Beast. Mrs. Potts and Chip end their bedtime story with a grand finale that includes appearances by characters from even more Disney films.

"Celebrate the Magic" will have its final performance on November 3, with the new "Once Upon A Time" beginning on November 4 2016.

Wouldn't HEA sort of make OUAT redudant? I know they're different shows of course but wasn't the plan to just have HEA?

I'm not seeing any performances of OUAT after June 3rd on Disney's page... any word on this going dark a few weeks after HEA has settled in, or have they just not updated the schedule yet?

It has been noted that there are lasers in the Tokyo version of OUAT and WDW announced lasers for HEA. I would think it only natural to add the lasers into OUAT too, so that could be the reason.

I have no idea I just know it's down for refurbishment starting tomorrow. My wild guess would be something with the projectors.

If they had updated it a couple years ago there would have been no guarantee that they would have added Tangled to it.

I love Punzie a lot, I'm just sad that she isn't going to be in the new Magic Kingdom fireworks show(or neither in OUAT), wish Wishes would had been updated a couple years back(then a song from the film would had been in it), but so glad they're getting a new show.

Still angry about it(since I watched the show on YouTube, and getting angry that one of the scenes isn't in it, and wanting the first show back and at least update it, wish it never existed at MK). :( They better have it in the new Happily Ever After show.

Umm, they got new projectors in August. Now we know that they're for CTM 's finale, OUAT, and now HEA

Tell me why even after it debuted, Tangled isn't in it, it doesn't need drones to operate this scene, it could had been re-used from Celebrate the Magic, and I didn't get to see it last August, because for no stupid reason, they decided to black out the show for most of the month that I went :(
