Work is continuing at four Walt Disney World locations preparing for the upcoming launch of the east coast Club 33.
The most visible so far is the new construction taking place around the Adventureland Veranda at the Magic Kingdom. This Club 33 lounge is expected to offer food and drink, along with views of nighttime spectaculars.
Disney is already preparing for the launch of Club 33 with the recruitment of Cast Members for Club 33 roles. Guests have reported seeing Club 33 Cast Members at the Hollywood Brown Derby, with its lobby area being the entrance to the Studios Club 33 lounge.
Word of Club 33 at Walt Disney World surfaced in April of 2017, with Disney gauging interest, but not making any detailed announcements.
Similar to the unique membership club founded by Walt Disney at Disneyland Resort, members will gain access to unique locations at all four Walt Disney World theme parks.
In recent times, Disney has been focussing on adding more premium experiences to its offerings throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. With homes selling for upwards of $10 million in the Golden Oak development at the heart of the resort, there is certainly a customer base for this type of exclusive membership.
