Magic Kingdom to test earlier closing on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party event nights

Disney is testing revised operating hours on Magic Kingdom Party nights this year in an attempt to improve the arrival experience for party guests.

Snow fall on Main Street U.S.A.

On nights where the Magic Kingdom is hosting Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the park will close this year at 6pm to day guests.

The party will begin as normal at 7pm, but only guests with tickets to the party will be able to ride attractions after 6pm. Day guests will be able to shop and dine until 7pm however.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party will not be using the revised hours, and will continue to close at 7pm for day guests.

another opinion attacker? and I had thought you were better than this. yeah sorry I never go into the bay for any of that stuff nor do I care about the Jedi academy. the show was cool once. but I don't need to see it over and over again so yeah basically nothing star wars except the ride.

But it would be for people entering the park not exiting, most people buy on the way out. You could even set up a few carts with party exclusives. Crowd control would be much easier for the start of the party and end of the day.

Lol. So nothing Star Wars related with the exception of maybe Star Tours? Even without it I still don’t understand the math.. unless there’s more that doesn’t count as “real shows”

Star Wars will be booked every night with the exclusive activity for Star Wars Resort guests.

Are there not now less total hard ticketed party nights through the year. Pirates and princesses ran from Jan-June. That ended in 2011.

I don't count meet and greets.....because I don't like waiting for them. all real shows and ridess by 1pm is easy if you fp smart.

People who claim to do "everything" at DHS just do the select few things they wanna do. For a first timer at the park, so someone who wants to soak up and see almost every attraction (like myself) you definitely need the whole day at the park.

We’re on our way to MVMCP in the next half hour or so. If there would have been a hard ticket event at HS, we would have gladly reversed our order of parks today and done that instead! Ran out of time at HS.. not able to meet BB8. I don’t know how people claim to do “everything” at HS in a few hours time.
