The Jungle Cruise at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom reopened earlier this week following its eight-week refurbishment.
While no significant changes were made to the ride experience itself, several updates have freshened up the classic attraction, giving it a well-needed tune-up.
Updated Rockwork, Loading Area, and Dock
As part of the refurbishment, the rockwork along the riverbanks has been repainted, giving it a more vibrant look that will look more realistic as it weathers. The hut across from the loading area also received some updates, and sections of the dock have been replaced.
Landscaping Adjustments
Some of the landscaping throughout the ride-path has been cut back. This may have been done to provide better access during the refurbishment work, but it's also possible that some trimming was required due to the effects of Hurricane Milton.
Animatronic Tune-Up
The animatronics have undergone maintenance, with several figures having their movements restored, bringing life back to characters that had previously become static.
